ABSECON, NJ (November 28, 2017) – Barbara Fucetola, Customer Service Agent with Glenn Insurance, has earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

To attain CIC certification, a candidate must be licensed or have a minimum of two years of full-time experience in the insurance or risk management industry, and must pass five written exams on the practical application of insurance principles. The course gives a solid background on the insurance industry.

“Being a Certified Insurance Counselor is important to me because it signifies a higher professional level of experience,†Fucetola said. “The curriculum is tailored to my region and has an impact on the work I do every day.â€

Fucetola began working in the insurance industry in 1995 and obtained her New Jersey Producer license in 2004. She is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and a member of the Atlantic County International Association of Insurance Professionals.
