The award recognizes professionals who demonstrate superior knowledge of the claims field, seek additional insurance-related education and demonstrate leadership in the field. It also automatically enrolls Weisman in the IAIP’s 77th Annual Convention in June, where she will compete against six other regional winners for national honors.

Criteria for the award includes insurance education, involvement in claims or adjusters associations, civic involvement and an essay on the candidate’s work experience, goals and achievements.
The IAIP conference saw competition among a number of northeast states, including Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Weisman joined Glenn Insurance in 1987 and holds the designations of Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Associate in Claims (AIC) and Certified Insurance Industry Pro (CIIP). She is an active longtime member of the Atlantic County International Association of Insurance Professionals, serving on various committees and on the board as Vice-President and President-Elect.
